bmibaby Boeing 737-3Q8 G-TOYA has been named "brummie baby"

Birmingham International Airport today, Friday 7 January 2005, welcomed bmibaby
to its increasing portfolio of airlines and destinations, offering even greater choice
for Midlands' travellers from the region's largest Airport
 
bmibaby will fly to nine destinations - Alicante, Edinburgh, Belfast International,
Malaga, Palma, Prague, Amsterdam, Knock and Geneva - offering over 130 flights
every week throughout the winter months. Additionally, the airline will launch
services to Cork, Murcia and Nice from the end of March 2005
 
Peter Vella, Birmingham International Airport's Business Development Director,
said, "bmibaby will compliment our existing portfolio of low cost and full service
airlines and will provide even greater choice for business and leisure passengers"

To mark the launch of services children from Marston Green Infant School were
on hand to help name Boeing 737-3Q8 G-TOYA "brummie baby" before taking
a short flight as the WW1075 around the local area

Boeing 737-3L9 G-OGBD operated their first service to Malaga as the WW1031
while Boeing 737-3L9 G-OGBE went to Alicante as the WW1041 with G-TOYA
operating the WW1091 to Knock after it returned from the promotional flight

All flights with bmibaby from Birmingham will be operated by Boeing 737-300
and 500 jet aircraft with 148 and 131 seats respectively
