Armavia launch new weekly service from Birmingham to Yerevan and onto Delhi

Armavia has launched a new weekly service between Birmingham
and Yerevan in Armenia, which offers an onward connection to Delhi
.

Armavia operates throughout Europe, the Middle East and Russia
with Birmingham the airlines first UK destination. The weekly
service, departing Birmingham at 0925 on Tuesday, will be
operated by a 134 seat Airbus A319 aircraft with
8 business class seats and 126 economy seats
.
Illarion Gharibyan said: "There are 20,000 people in the UK from
Armenian descent and people can currently only access flights to
Armenia from Heathrow so the Birmingham operation will provide
more choice for those wanting to reach Yerevan"
.
Paul Kehoe said: "Not only will Armavia Airlines offer people a
brand new service to Armenia, it will provide another welcome
connection to India, which will be of particular interest to
the 200,000 Indian people living in the Midlands"
