November 2010 - a fall of 4.0% on the previous year

The results for the month were effected by the accident 
involving Citation G-VUEM on the afternoon of Friday 
19 November 2009 which closed the airport for over 20 hours
.
Adverse weather in the final week of the month which in 
particular closed airports in Scotland also had an adverse 
effect on the figures
.
On the positive side the main European/longhaul business
/scheduled routes continued do well while UK domestic 
- down 10.1% - was again weak 
.
During November significant growth was achieved on
scheduled flights to destinations such as -
Gothenburg, 40.5%, Ashkhabad 37.9%, Katowice 33.3%
Gdansk 26.9%, Arrecife 23.9%, Krakow 22.1%
Rzeszow 22.0%, Alicante 21.5%, Larnaca 21.2%
Milan 19.8%, Las Palmas 17.4%, Lyon 15.5% 
.
Charter traffic which experience growth included -
Jamaica 78.8%, Greece 46.5% and Turkey 38.6% 
.
Scheduled traffic accounted for 85.7% of the total
passenger traffic in November whilst charter 
passengers made up the remaining 14.3%
.
