Monarch launch winter 2012/13 programme and four new routes from Birmingham Airport

Monarch has announced a further expansion of their services
from Birmingham Airport as part of an expanded autumn/winter
2012/13 flying programme. There are four new routes to -
.
Funchal - starts on 15 October 2012 - upto twice weekly
on Monday and Friday
.
Grenoble - starts on 15 December 2012 - 3 times weekly
on Thursday, Saturday and Sunday
.
Munich - starts on 21 September 2012 - up to 4 times weekly
on Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday
.
Sharm el Sheikh - starts on 18 October 2012 - twice weekly
on Tuesday and Thursday
.
In addition their recently launched services to Milan, Rome
and Venice will operate on a year round basis. Flights to their
other new destination - Barcelona - and additional peak
season summer flights will go on sale on Friday 18 May 2012
.
Grenoble and Munich airports are famed for their excellent links
to ski resorts covering the Alps in France, Switzerland, Bavaria
and Austria. In addition, Munich provides year-round appeal with
many seasonal and cultural events such as the world’s largest fair,
Oktober Fest, held annually for 16 days in September and October
.
The other two routes will target holidaymakers craving winter
sun with new flights to Funchal on the Portuguese island of
Madeira and to Sharm el Sheikh in Egypt
.
