Monarch to serve Nice - launch expanded Birmingham Summer 2012 schedule

Monarch have today/Friday put on sale the additional flights
that they are operating from Birmingham this summer in response
to the announcement that bmibaby will be ceasing operations....

.... in addition to the previously announced new route to
Barcelona they are also adding service to Nice - another
route currently served by bmibaby
.
From Friday 20 July 2012 Monarch will be basing two additional
Airbus A320's at BHX operating the following flights -

+ New Monarch routes to replace bmibaby -
.
- Barcelona - 4 weekly flights on Tue + Thurs + Sat + Sun
- Nice - 7 weekly flights/daily service
.
+ Additional flights on existing bmibaby/Monarch routes -
.
- Alicante - 3 additional weekly flights on Mon + Tue + Sun
- Faro - 2 additional weekly flights on Thursday + Saturday
- Malaga - 4 additional weekly flights on Mon + Wed + Fri +Sun
- Palma - 3 additional weekly flights on Tues + Thurs + Fri
- Rome - 2 additional weekly flights on Monday + Wednesday

- Dalaman - 1 weekly flight on Friday
- Ibiza - 1 weekly flight on Wednesday
- Tenerife - 1 weekly flight on Saturday

Commenting on the launch of these additional Summer 2012
flights and the new routes, Managing Director of Monarch
