Birmingham Airport handled 1,051,052 passengers during July 2014

the "busiest July" ever at BHX
This is yet another excellent result - the second busiest month in
the airport's history and the fourth consecutive month of record
passenger numbers....
.... based on current trends August should be the busiest month ever
at Birmingham Airport and the first to exceed 1.1 million passengers!
Paul Kehoe, Birmingham Airport’s CEO, said: "July was a historic month
for us. Not only did we achieve such great passenger numbers, we also
celebrated our 75th anniversary and saw the first ever flight from China
to a non-London airport arrive, and later depart on our newly extended
runway to make its five thousand mile return journey to Beijing"
