The first section of the new "Upper Deck" A380 air bridge on Stand 54 was lifted
into place on Thursday evening/Friday morning....

.... this section was attached to the pillars that had been installed the previous night and is
the fixed first part of the walk way that will be joined to the moveable air bridge - Emirates launch

Wednesday 17 February 2016 - Global Express XRS M-GYQM is a late afternoon arrival

Head Win Group Global Express XRS M-GYQM was a late afternoon arrival on the Elmdon apron - within
minutes it was towed onto Stand 506 between the Marshall and Monarch hangars for short term parking

Challenger 605 N955PM was an evening arrival from Charlottesville, Virginia, parking up to night stop

Flying Group Hawker 4000 LX-LOE was a day stopping visitor from Antwerp

Cavok Air Antonov 12BP UR-CEZ and Bright Flight Antonov 26B LZ-FLL which had
both arrived overnight spent the day parked up on the Elmdon apron with....

.... Air Hamburg Citation CJ2 D-IBJJ which had also arrived on a priority freight charter

Work has commenced of the installation of a new A380 "Upper Deck" air bridge on Stand 54 in preparation
for Emirates launching a daily Airbus A380 service from Dubai to Birmingham on Sunday 27 March 2016....
