Kenn Borek Air Turbo Dakota C-GAWI was a surprise visitor for fuel
while routing from Toulouse to Keflavik on its way home to Canada..

.... it is called "Polar 5"

.... and is operated on behalf of the Alfred Wegener Institute
- AWI - of Bremenhaven, Germany which carries out research
in the Arctic and Antartic

It parked up on the Elmdon apron to refuel....

.... which allowed a quick look inside the cockpit

After refueling it departed to Keflavik, Iceland....
