Air Asia X Airbus A340-313X 9M-XAC which diverted into BHX
from Stansted on Saturday evening spent the day parked up on
Stand 85C - the aircraft is in an "Oakland Raiders" logo jet scheme

Emirates Boeing 777-31HER A6-EBT finally made it to BHX having
been diverted to Newcastle on Saturday joining the PIA Boeing 777
and Mahan Air Airbus A310 that had been stranded overnight....

.... the Emirates "10th anniversary" flight finally departing
to Dubai just over 24 hours late!!

Ryanair Boeing 737-8AS EI-DPW operated their lunchtime service
to Dublin - the aircraft wears additional "Lleida" titles advertising
this new airport in the Catalonia region of Spain

Thomson Boeing 737-36N G-THOL positioned in to operate
their first ski season IT flight to Toulouse
.
There were extensive delays during the day as aircraft waited to
be deiced - it had been -14c overnight with everything frozen
.
RAF Avia Antonov 26B YL-RAE was a lunchtime arrival doing
a tour of the airport due to the limited number of taxiways that
were open/ice free....

.... while Cello Avro Business Jet G-RAJJ visited the 80's stands
for deicing before departing to Aberdeen

Netjets Hawker 800XP CS-DRF was a visitor to a snowy Elmdon apron
