Jet2 and Jet2holidays celebrate the first flights and holidays from their new Birmingham Airport base

Jet2 and Jet2holidays celebrated their first ever scheduled flights and package holidays departing
from Birmingham Airport on Thursday 30 March 2017 - they will fly to 23 destinations from the
airport using four brand new Boeing 737-800 next generation aircraft. More than 200 jobs have
been created as a result of the new operation, which will see 57 weekly flights at peak times


Flights will operate from Birmingham Airport this Summer to: Alicante, Arrecife, Faro, Fuerteventura,
Gerona, Heraklion, Ibiza, Las Palmas, Mahon, Malaga, Palma, Paphos, Reus, Rhodes and Tenerife

In addition, flights will also operate to Funchal, Geneva, Grenoble, Krakow, Prague, Salzburg and
Turin during Winter 2017/18. Two New York trips in November 2017 complete the list of routes


There are more than 840,000 seats on sale for Summer 2017 and Winter 2017/18 from Birmingham
Airport with Jet2 which has been voted by Trip Advisor and Skytrax as the UK's Top Airline, and is
