Monday 17 March 2008 - Atlantic BAe 146 OY-RCA flying for SAS to Copenhagen

SAS used Atlantic Airways BAe 146-200 OY-RCA on their morning
service from Copenhagen
flybe Embraer 195 G-FBEJ positioned in during the morning
- its first visit to BHX
RAF Tristar C2A ZE706 operated a "medivac" flight and later
positioned back to RAF Brize Norton
Scot Airways Dornier 328 G-CCGS operated a charter flight bringing
in the Newcastle United football team to play Birmingham City

Saturday 15 March 2008 - Challenger VP-CKR spends day parked on the

Challenger VP-CKR - which diverted from Luton earlier in the
week - remained parked on the Elmdon apron
Lear Jer 60 EI-REX was also parked up on the Elmdon apron....
.... while Atlantic Express ATR 42 G-DRFC was parked in front of the flybe hangar
Air Southwest Dash 8-300 G-WOWB operated a "Fear of Flying" flight

Flightline MD 83 G-FLTM - which is in Aviajet colours - operated a
charter flight from Knock for the Cheltenham Gold Cup Festival
Swiss Air Force Falcon 50 T-783 visited the
Elmdon apron during the morning
SAS used MD 82 LN-RMC on their morning service from Copenhagen
- the aircraft has an all white fuselage and no titles

Monday 10 March 2008 - bad weather results in diversions from Heathrow and Gatwick

Diversions!! - a packed apron including two BA Boeing 747's,
a Boeing 777, a First Choice Boeing 767 and a Thomsonfly
Boeing 767-300 had all diverted to BHX due to bad
weather at Heathrow and Gatwick.
British Airways Boeing 747-400 G-CIVE arrived as the "BA 028"
from Hong Kong while the aircraft behind it - G-CIVU - arrived
as the "BA 054" from Johannesburg
British Airways Airbus A320 G-EUUJ was operating flight
"BA 881" from Moscow to Heathrow when it diverted to BHX
while the Avro RJ 100 behind - G-BZAX - was operating flight
"BA 8731" from Frankfurt to London City
. First Choice Boeing 767-300 G-OOBM was operating flight
"FCA 085" from Porlamar to Gatwick to where it positioned
back mid morning
Challenger VP-CKR was a Luton Diversion
. The day also saw the start of the Irish invasion for the
"Cheltenham Gold Cup Festival" with Aer Lingus operating
a number of additional flights/upgrades - Airbus A321 EI-CPF
operated the mid morning service from Dublin

Sunday 9 March 2008 - Ryanair Boeing 737 EI-EYA makes its first visit to BHX

Ryanair used their latest Boeing 737-8AS EI-DYA on their
lunchtime service from Dublin - its first visit to BHX

Friday 7 March 2008 - Air Berlin Boeing 737 D-ABBB operates flight from Munster

Air Berlin used Boeing 737-86J D-ABBB on their service from
Münster Osnabrück - the aircraft wears the first version
of their new colour scheme

Thursday 6 March 2008 - Hex Air Embraer 135 F-GYPE flying for Air France

Air France used Hex Air Embraer 135 F-GYPE on their morning
Lyon service in place of the usual Brit Air Canadair CRJ 100
