due to poor weather at Brize Norton - it wears Saudi Arabian titles
in preparation of a Hajj pilgrimage lease - and departed under an
Astraeus flight number to Minhad AFB in Dubai
Koral Blue Airbus A320-212 SU-KBA operated
their weekly IT flight to Sharm el Sheikh

RAF Avia Antonov 26B YL-RAE was an early evening arrival
as it positioned in to become based at BHX - it will be available
for ad hoc cargo charter work
Cimber Air ATR 42-500 OY-CIJ positioned in to operate
a charter flight to Gothenburg

Armavia launch new weekly service from Birmingham to Yerevan and onto Delhi

Armavia has launched a new weekly service between Birmingham
and Yerevan in Armenia, which offers an onward connection to Delhi
Illarion Gharibyan, Deputy Director General of Armavia (centre left)
cut the ribbon to launch the new route as he was welcomed by
Paul Kehoe, CEO of Birmingham Airport (centre right)
Armavia operates throughout Europe, the Middle East and Russia
with Birmingham the airlines first UK destination. The weekly
service, departing Birmingham at 0925 on Tuesday, will be
operated by a 134 seat Airbus A319 aircraft with
8 business class seats and 126 economy seats
Illarion Gharibyan said: "There are 20,000 people in the UK from
Armenian descent and people can currently only access flights to
Armenia from Heathrow so the Birmingham operation will provide
more choice for those wanting to reach Yerevan"
Paul Kehoe said: "Not only will Armavia Airlines offer people a
brand new service to Armenia, it will provide another welcome
connection to India, which will be of particular interest to
the 200,000 Indian people living in the Midlands"

Sunday 26 September 2010 - Air Berlin Airbus A330 D-ALPJ operates a charter to Barcelona

Air Berlin Airbus A330-223 D-ALPJ positioned in from Munich to
operate a charter flight to Barcelona - it had previously visited in 2008
Embraer 190-100LR D-AECA operated the morning Lufthansa
service from Frankfurt - following the settlement of a long
running dispute with their pilots over the use of the new
Embraer 190/195's operated by subsidiary CityLine....
.... the aircraft are now being retitled into the Lufthansa Regional
brand colour scheme similar to that on their Avro RJ85's and
Canadair CRJ's - previously they had just CityLine titles
Ryanair Boeing 737-8AS EI-DLM wears additional
"bye bye Latehansa" titles
Solid Air Citation IV PH-MFX was a morning visitor
to the Elmdon before departing to Innsbruck....
Jet Ranger II G-BXRY was a morning visitor

Turkish Boeing 737-752 TC-JKO operated their service to Istanbul
Balkan Holidays Airbus A320-211 LZ-BHE operated their
flight from Bourgas - the aircraft is all white with no titles
Hawker 850XP HB-VOJ which had arrived on Friday
evening was a morning departure....

charter from Dubrovnik before continuing onto Dublin

before being leased out - is now in the new Air France colour scheme

G-BODY was a morning departure from the Elmdon apron....

Ryanair will be launching a new twice weekly service to Malta
from Birmingham on Wednesday 15 December 2010
After a bespoke schedule over the Christmas and New Year
holiday period flights will operate on Wednesday and Sunday
Birmingham - Malta is also served by Air Malta

Air Berlin will be operating two Airbus A330-200 charter flights
from/to BHX over the next two weekends in connection with a
Mediterranean cruise from Barcelona

1210/1345 AB1005/105F 332 from Barcelona/to Dusseldorf
