The first section of the new "Upper Deck" A380 air bridge on Stand 54 was lifted
into place on Thursday evening/Friday morning....

.... this section was attached to the pillars that had been installed the previous night and is
the fixed first part of the walk way that will be joined to the moveable air bridge - Emirates launch

evening and is seen here on the Elmdon site waiting to go air side - Emirates launching a daily Airbus A380 service

Work has commenced of the installation of a new A380 "Upper Deck" air bridge on Stand 54 in preparation
for Emirates launching a daily Airbus A380 service from Dubai to Birmingham on Sunday 27 March 2016....
