for the second week in a row! - the aircraft wears "One World" titles

bmibaby Boeing 737-36N G-TOYH operated their final flight
from Knock as they ceased to operate that route together with
their services from BHX to Amsterdam and Belfast City

Wednesday 6 January 2010 - the snow moves south - yet more diversions!!

Star diversion was Mexicana Boeing 767-25DER XA-MXO which
arrived from Mexico City as the "MX 1594"....
.
.... after diverting from a snow closed Gatwick
.
BHX's new International Pier was put to good use after an influx of
diversions from Gatwick including two Emirates Boeing 777's and a
First Choice 767 which joined the BHX Emirates 777 and a PIA 777....
.
.... while two Virgin Atlantic Boeing 747-400's parked on the 80's
stands - both arrived from Orlando G-VTOP (on left) as the
"VS 016" while G-VROY (on right) was operating the "VS 028"
.
Albanian Boeing 737-306 OM-ASD was operating flight "LV 110"
from Tirana went it diverted in - it later positioned back to Stansted
.
Air Berlin Dash 8-402Q D-ABQF was operating flight "AB 8314"
when it diverted it from Stansted - it positioned back to Paderborn

PIA Boeing 777-340ER AP-BHW final departed just after 1430
operating their service to Islamabad that had been delayed
from Tuesday evening due to the overnight snow closure

Gulfstream IV N129NS was an afternoon visitor

Count the Ryanair! - a morning view after an influx of diversions
from Stansted joined the based aircraft parked on Terminal 2
.
Once again well done to the BHX Ops team for getting the Airport
open again this morning after the heaviest snow fall for years!!

Sunday 18 January 2009 - Air Seychelles Boeing 767 N767HS diverted from Kemble

Air Seychelles Boeing 767-200 N767HS/S7-EXL – and one time
G-BNYS with XL/Excel/Thomsonfly – was planned into Kemble
on Saturday afternoon presumably for scrapping
.
It arrived in the UK just as the afternoon's storm hit Kemble
and as a result diverted to BHX….
.
.... departing just after 1300 today on the short flight on to Kemble
.
The aircraft now wears N767HS although as you can see the "S7"
of the previous registration has been crudely painted out
.
Twinjet Airbus A319CJ G-NMAK - which is now based at BHX -
was a morning departure to Nice
.
Turkmenistan Boeing 737-800 EZ-A004 was a late afternoon
arrival operated their flight from Ashgabat

Monday 29 September 2008 - KTHY Boeing 737 TC-MZZ operates weekly flight to Ercan

KTHY - Cyprus Turkish Airlines - Boeing 737-800 TC-MZZ
operated their service to Ercan, Northern Cyprus, via Dalaman

spending the morning parked on the Elmdon apron

Scot Airways operated two charters to Hannover - the
first flight was operated by Dornier 328 G-CCGS....

Fox Flight Lear Jet 36A operated an Air Ambulance
flight parking up on the Elmdon apron

Thomsonfly Boeing 767-200 G-BYAB positioned in to cover for
a "tech" Boeing 757 - it also experienced a technical problem on
push back and start and was towed to a remote stand for
attention before departing to Ibiza

Saturday 27 October 2007 - Thomson Boeing 767 G-BYAA operates final 767-200 flight from BHX

Thomsonfly Boeing 767-200 G-BYAA departs to Ibiza on its final
IT flight of the summer season from BHX. On its return the aircraft
positioned to Luton bringing to an end their 767-200 operations at
BHX as their remaining aircraft are being disposed of to Silverjet
