The "Helicopter Club of Great Britain" fly in to Birmingham Airport to visit Jaguar

The "Helicopter Club of Great Britain" organised a "fly in" to Birmingham Airport on
Tuesday 10 September 2013 in conjunction with a visit to Jaguar at Castle Bromwich....

.... a total of 8 helicopters arrived with 7 parking on Taxiway Lima
- in order of arrival the following visited -

Eurocopter Squirrel G-WHAM which arrived on Monday and parked on Stand 505

Eurocopter EC 120B Colibri G-ZZOE

Robinson R-22 Beta G-HIZZ

Robinson R-44 Astro G-NSEW

Enstrom 280C Turbo Shark G-OTHE

Robinson R-22 Beta G-ZAPY

Robinson R-44 Raven II G-NISA

The Helicopter Club members were ferried to the nearby plant by a fleet of Jaguars....

.... returning after the event in something a bit faster and more colourful!

There was then a mass departure of all the helicopters shortly after 1600

A big well done to everyone at Birmingham Airport and Eurojet for a well organised and safe fly in!

Saturday 25 August 2012 - Airways Flying Club Piper Dakota G-ODAK visits the Elmdon apron

it diverted in from Brize Norton due to thunderstorms in the area

remained park up before departing in the early hours of
Sunday morning after nearly a weeks stay at BHX

Swiftair ATR 72-212A EC-KUL positioned in to operate a flybe
service to the Isle of Man - its first visit to BHX. After spending
the afternoon parked up on Stand 24 it departed to Madrid
