Hello MD 90 HB-JIF, which arrived from Zurich, operated the first

special charter flight bringing visitors to "IPEX 2010" which is taking

place at the adjacent NEC - National Exhibition Centre....

Wideroe Dash 8Q-402 LN-WDG arrived from Oslo Torp while ....

Air Nostrum/Iberia Regional Canadair CRJ 900 EC-JTU arrived
from Madrid with all three aircraft parking up to nightstop at BHX
.

Many scheduled flights were also upgraded for the show with

Swiss Airbus A320-214 HB-IJB operating their morning service

from Zurich in place of the usual Helvetic Fokker 100

General aviation day stopping visitors included Pan Europeenne

- this service is to be operated by an ATR 42 for the summer

Czech Airlines Airbus A319-112 OK-NEP operated their flight from Prague - its first visit to BHX....

.... it is in the "Wow Prague" special colour scheme that includes an image of Prague Castle

Adria Canadair CRJ200LR S5-AAG operated their return charter from Tivat
before positioning out to Ljubljana - it is in "Star Alliance" colours

KLM Boeing 737-8K2 PH-BXD which is in their new colour scheme operated
their afternoon service from Amsterdam

VLM Fokker 50 OO-VLJ operated their final service to Waterford - the route
which had started on Monday 27 April 2015 has now been dropped

Emirates Boeing 777-31HER A6-EPI operated their morning flight from Dubai....

.... its first visit to BHX - as it taxied out another Emirates 777 can be seen parked
in front of the Monarch Aircraft Engineering hangar - this was....

Boeing 777-31HER A6-ECY which had been struck by lightning while on approach to BHX
on Thursday evening - as a result the return flight to Dubai - EK038 - had been cancelled

Emirates Airbus A380-861 A6-EOY operated their lunchtime flight from Dubai....
