flybe to launch a new daily service to Luxembourg from Birmingham Airport in September 2016

flybe, Europe’s largest regional airline, has today, Thursday 3 March 2016 announced details of a brand
new year-round daily service between Birmingham and Luxembourg starting on Monday 5 September 2016

Luxembourg is not only a key business destination as it is also a hidden European tourist gem featuring
dramatic countryside scattered with fairytale-style castles. Luxembourg City is conveniently located for
onward travel to France, Germany and Belgium with all three countries under half an hour away by road

Vincent Hodder, flybe Chief Revenue Officer, said: "We are delighted to be adding Luxembourg to our 2016
Summer schedule from Birmingham. Until now, direct flights to Luxembourg were only possible via London.
We are opening up yet another key business and tourist destination to travellers outside of the M25 corridor
and look forward to welcoming all our new customers on board in September

World Duty Free - WDF - are carrying out an extensive refurbishment of their store at Birmingham Airport‏

World Duty Free, a Dufry company, has begun an extensive refurbishment of its tax and duty free store
at Birmingham Airport. This ties in with the agreement of a new contract term between the airport and
World Duty Free - WDF - with the anticipated trading date for the new store being late summer 2016

The refresh of the store has given WDF the opportunity to introduce several new and exciting products
across all its categories. The beauty area will see the addition of several iconic brands including Jo Malone
London, Urban Decay and Bobbi Brown. A wider range of products will also be introduced in the liquor
category with an increased focus on premium gin, vodka and wines. Whisky in particular will be strongly
showcased with the installation of a new World of Whiskies "shop in shop" concept

Commenting on the contract extension and store redevelopment, Fred Creighton, Managing Director UK
& Germany – Dufry said "Our plans for the refurbishment at Birmingham Airport will create a striking and
welcoming store which will really enhance the shopping experience for the 10 million passengers that use
the airport every year. We will work in close partnership with the team at Birmingham to develop a store
that will be a real focal point within the International Departure Lounge"
