April - which included Easter - was expected to continue the
recent trend of improving monthly passenger numbers and
then the Volcanic Ash Cloud arrived....

.... BHX closed at 0700 on Thursday 15 April 2010 and did
not reopen again until Wednesday 21 April 2010 - a total
of 6 days when no flights operated from the airport!
