September 2011 - a decrease of 1.5% on the previous year

While scheduled/business services continued to show
some growth leisure travel was again adversely effected

During September significant growth was achieved on
scheduled flights to destinations such as -
Almeria 94.2%, Fuerteventura 77.1%, Malta 49.4%,
Istanbul 37.7%, Milan 36.7%, Dalaman 34.9%,
Brussels 32.8%, Shannon 31.1% and Hannover 23.1%
.
Charter traffic which experience growth included -
Croatia 71.3%, Jamaica 20.4% and Greece 12.8%
.
Scheduled traffic accounted for 73.4% of the total
passenger traffic in September whilst charter passengers
made up the remaining 26.6%
.
