as such to BHX but it had been a regular when it was operated by KLM as PH-BTB

Wednesday 23 April 2014 - former Air Malta Airbus A320-214 G-ZBAR arrives on delivery to Monarch

Airbus A320-214 G-ZBAR was an early evening arrival from Malta on delivery to Monarch
- the aircraft was previously 9H-AEF with Air Malta but still retains the basic colour scheme

Monarch Airbus A300B4-605R G-OJMR returned from a morning visit to Taxiway Echo
where it had completed some engines runs as part of its end of lease checks....

.... returning to park up in from of the Monarch Aircraft Engineering hangar - it is due
to make its final flight to Tarbes Lourdes Airport on Monday 28 April 2014

towed into the Monarch Aircraft Engineering hangar to commence a "C Check"

Monday remained parked up on Stand 74 - it was previously JY-AYJ with Royal Jordanian

AIS Airlines Jetstream 32 PH-OCI operated the afternoon Eastern Airways flight from Newcastle
- its first visit to BHX. The aircraft is in the basic colours of Swedish airline direktflyg and had
earlier positioned into Newcastle to take over from PH-CCI which had operated the Newcastle
to Birmingham route on behalf of Eastern Airways since Wednesday 5 February 2014

FedEx Boeing 757-2B7SF N910FD operated their morning Paris CDG - BHX - Manchester
service which is currently visiting in daylight because of the overnight Runway closures

Thursday 6 February 2014 - SiAvia Embraer 145LR F-HFKC operates charter flight from Toulouse

SiAvia Embraer 145LR F-HFKC was a lunchtime arrival from Toulouse operating a charter
flight - it was previously UR-DNY with Dniproavia whose basic colour scheme it still wears
and had visited BHX when it was I-EXMC with Alitalia Express....

SiAvia Embraer 145EP F-HAFS had earlier arrived from Lyon while....

WDL BAe 146-200 D-AMGL operating on behalf of MHS Aviation arrived from Paris CDG
with all three aircraft parking up to night stop at BHX

Aer Lingus Airbus A320-214 EI-DVM operated their morning service to Dublin -
the aircraft is in their "retro" colour scheme

easyJet Airbus A319-111 G-EZIO which wears a special Unicef "Change for Good"
colour scheme operated their morning service to Belfast International

AIS Airlines Jetstream 32 PH-CCI operated the morning Eastern Airways flight to Newcastle
- these flights should now be operated by an AIS Airlines Jetstream until further notice

FedEx Express Boeing 757-236SF N915FD diverted back to BHX after its morning departure
due to landing delays at Manchester - it then spent the day parked up on the Elmdon apron

Citation Bravo G-OMRH which is stored in the Eurojet hangar came outside to do some engine runs

Airbus A300B4-605R G-MAJS which had arrived back on Sunday 26 January 2014 for end of lease
checks and maintenance reappeared out of the Monarch hangar now devoid of insignia and titles....

.... to be prepared for its departure to Portsmouth, New Hampshire, and onto Tupelo in Mississippi
where the aircraft will be parted out and scrapped - it had originally joined Monarch in April 1991
