Eve spent the day parked up - the aircraft is now BHX based and
is available for general charter work

service from Dubai - its first visit to BHX

Comtel Air cancel all their flights from Birmingham Airport to Amritsar, India

Comtel Air have now cancelled all flights from Birmingham
to Amritsar via Vienna until further notice....

.... they made the news headlines earlier in the week when
passengers were asked to hand over more cash to complete
their flight to Birmingham when the aircraft stopped for
refuelling in Vienna - video report here
.
The flights were being sold by Takhar Travel in Smethwick
but the ATOL holder was a company called Astonbury Limited
- trading as Skyjet - which had an agreement with Comtel Air
who had chartered Mint Airways to operate the flights
.
Astonbury/Skyjet has now ceased to trade with the result the
CAA has now stepped and will be repatriating the passengers
.

after operating the delayed Comtel Air flight from Amritsar via Vienna
and making the news headlines when the passengers were asked to
hand over more cash to complete the flight to Birmingham when
the aircraft stopped for refuelling in Vienna - video report here
