Tuesday 9 February 2016 - Two Royal Navy Westland Sea Kings visit Jaguar Land Rover Sports Ground

Two Royal Navy Fleet Air Arm helicopters visited the Jaguar Land Rover Sports Ground adjacent
to Rowood Drive, Solihull and just a short distance from Birmingham Airport's western boundary....

Westland Sea King HC4 ZF427 is coded "K" and....

.... and both are operated by 848 Squadron based at RNAS Yeovilton in Somerset

"Chiltern Classic Flight" Chipmunks G-BPCU and G-HRFH flypast ATC Tower at Birmingham‏ Airport

"Chiltern Classic Flight" Chipmunks G-BPCU and G-HFRH performed a flypast....

.... of the new ATC Tower at Birmingham Airport on Monday 17 March 2014

.... both aircraft had flown in from Booker before breaking off to land on Runway 33

.... first in was Chipmunk 22 G-BCPU "Chiltern 1" which wears a British Airways scheme

.... followed in by Chipmunk 22 G-HFRH "Chiltern 2" which is marked as Royal Navy WK635

The flypast had been organised to celebrate Anthony Hatch's - second from right....

.... time as a NATS - National Air Traffic Services - Watch Manager at Birmingham Airport

After a visit to the Elmdon apron Chipmunk 22 G-BCPU "Chiltern 1" and....

.... Chipmunk 22 G-HFRH "Chiltern 2"

.... were on their way back to Kemble - G-BPCU - and Turweston - G-HFRH

.... with a "Chiltern Classic Flight" formation departure off Runway 33

Wednesday 3 December 2008 - Sky Europe Boeing 737 OM-NGC arrives with MSK Zilina

SkyEurope Boeing 737-700 OM-NGC brought MSK Zilina (of
Slovakia) in for their UEFA Cup match against Aston Villa on
Thursday evening - the aircraft positioned back to Bratislava
.
RAF C 17 ZZ175 operated a medivac flight before
positioning to Brize Norton
.
Royal Navy Sea King HU5 XV673 - which had arrived on
Tuesday afternoon - departed shortly after the C 17 left
.
Cessna Citation XLS N575NR - which is a regular visitor to
Wellesbourne - spent the day parked on the Elmdon apron
