Airlift International Douglas DC 8 63F 9G-RAC was an early

morning diversion from RAF Lyneham....

.... after refueling it departed off Runway 33 onto Lyneham
.

While waiting for the weather at Lyneham to improve it parked
on the Elmdon apron - the aircraft had previously visited BHX in

1987 as OY-KTG when it diverted in operating a SAS flight - for

Welcome Air Dornier 328 OE-GBB was an afternoon visitor

to the Elmdon apron operating an Air Ambulance flight

before departing off Runway 15 to Brussels

flybe Dash 8Q-400 G-ECOR which had arrived on delivery

on Friday spent the day parked on the Elmdon apron

Virgin Nigeria Embraer 190 5N-VNH arrived from Kano, Nigeria,

just after 1700....

..

.... parking on the Elmdon apron in front of flybe Hangar One - the

aircraft has come to the UK for repairs after a bird strike in Nigeria

.

Shortly after 1730 it was towed into Hangar One!
