A Qatar Airways Airbus A350-900 is coming to Birmingham Airport on Tuesday 2 April 2019

Qatar Airways are planning to use an Airbus A350-900 on their service to Birmingham

Airport on Tuesday 2 April 2019 - this will be the first visit on an Airbus A350 to BHX!!

While the aircraft is operating the usual scheduled service Qatar Airways will be
taking the opportunity to launch their new Airbus A350-900 in the Midlands

The Qatar Airways Airbus A350-900 is planned to arrive at 1300 on Tuesday 2 April 2019
and is scheduled to depart back to Doha at 1600 on the same day

Sunday 10 December 2017 - Birmingham Airport is closed for much of the day after a heavy snowfall

Birmingham Airport was closed for much of the day after a heavy morning snowfall....

.... covered the runway with snow clearing teams working hard to reopen the airfield

A snowy view of the Elmdon site and the Monarch Aircraft Engineering hangar....

.... looking across the Elmdon apron towards the runway and the Airport Fire Station

As a result of the airport closure many flights were cancelled, delayed or diverted to other airports
