Thursday 10 October 2013 - RAF Sentinel R1 ZJ693 does "touch and go" on Runway 33

RAF Sentinel R1 ZJ693 made two approaches to Runway 33 during the afternoon....

.... on the first it did a "touch and go"

.... rolling well down the runway

.... while on the second approach it did a go around before continuing onto its base at RAF Waddington

The "Helicopter Club of Great Britain" organised a "fly in" to Birmingham Airport on
Tuesday 10 September 2013 in conjunction with a visit to Jaguar at Castle Bromwich....

.... a total of 8 helicopters arrived with 7 parking on Taxiway Lima
- in order of arrival the following visited -

.... returning after the event in something a bit faster and more colourful!

There was then a mass departure of all the helicopters shortly after 1600

A big well done to everyone at Birmingham Airport and Eurojet for a well organised and safe fly in!
