Chinese Premier Wen Jaibao departs to Heathrow after visit to Birmingham

Air China Boeing 747-4J6 B-2472 lifts off Birmingham Airport's
Runway 15 as Chinese Premier Wen Jaibao departs to Heathrow
.
Premier Wen Jaibao who had arrived in Birmingham on Saturday
evening had spent Sunday morning visiting Stratford-upon-Avon
for a Shakespeare performance and the Chinese owned MG car plant
at Longbridge returning to Birmingham Airport shortly after 1330....
.
.... the passengers were soon back on Boeing 747-4J6 B-2472
.
.... which started up and taxied out to depart on Runway 15
.
.... after briefly holding for arriving traffic
.
.... it lined up and departed to London Heathrow and
the next stage of Premier Wen Jaibao's visit to the UK

about that it has been a hot day in Birmingham

Chinese Premier Wen Jaibao welcomed to UK on arrival at Birmingham Airport

Chinese Premier Wen Jaibao arrived at Birmingham Airport on
Saturday evening/25 June 2011 at the start of his visit to the UK
.
His flight - operated by Air China Boeing 747-4J6 B-2472 -
was welcomed by an honour guard from the RAF Regiment
who lined the red carpet
.
Chinese Premier Wen Jaibao disembarked....

.... to be greeted by Paul Kehoe, CEO of Birmingham Airport....
.
.... also in the welcoming party at Birmingham Airport were (from left

o right) Councillor Mike Whitby, leader of Birmingham City Council,
Liu Xiaoming, the Chinese Ambassador, Stephen Green, Minister of
State for Trade and Investment all seen with Paul Kehoe

Chinese Premier Wen Jaibao arrives at Birmingham Airport at start of visit to UK

Chinese Premier Wen Jaibao arrived in Birmingham this evening/
Saturday 25 June 2011 on board Air China Boeing 747-4J6 B-2472....
.
.... as the aircraft came onto final approach to Runway 33
.
.... the honour guard on Stand 86 lined the red carpet
.
.... the aircraft touches down at BHX at the start of the UK tour of
Premier Wen Jaibao which includes visits to Stratford-upon-Avon
for a Shakespeare performance and the Chinese owned MG
car plant at Longbridge, Birmingham
.
Air China Boeing 747-4J6 B-2472 - which arrived from Budapest -
had previously visited Birmingham on Sunday 22 October 2006....
.
.... the aircraft routed via Taxiway Tango
.
.... following a "Follow Me" vehicle on its way to Stand 86
.
.... heading for the red carpet
.
.... and the welcoming party
.
As soon as the aircraft was parked Premier Wen Jaibao disembarked
.
.... and was soon on the way into Birmingham
