Emirates go nose to nose!! - Boeing 777-31HER A6-EBE arrives just as A6-EGQ pushes back....

.... A6-EGQ had gone "tech" after suffering a lightning strike on departure from Dubai on Friday

.... and as a result had spent the night parked on Stand 85C next to Transaero Boeing 747-346
VP-BGX which had diverted in due to poor weather at Bruntingthorpe on Friday afternoon

Air France Airbus A319-111 F-GRHR operated their morning service to Paris CDG - its first visit to BHX

Citation Mustang OE-FZA was a morning visitor to the Elmdon apron departing to Chambery

Netjets Hawker 800XP CS-DFX which diverted in from Coventry on Friday evening departed

Centreline Citation CJ2 G-TWOP was an afternoon departure to Malaga

"The Flying Show" at the nearby NEC resulted in a number of light aircraft visitors
including Pioneer 300 Hawk G-CGTL - the first visit of this type of aircraft to BHX
 

Friday 25 November 2011 - US Air Force C17 90-0532 early morning diversion

US Air Force C17A 90-0532 was an early morning arrival when
it diverted in because Mildenhall was closed for the Thanksgiving
Holiday - after unloading on the Elmdon apron it repositioned

Alpi Aviation Pioneer 200 G-CFKW which had arrived on Thursday
was loaded onto a trailer on the Elmdon apron to be moved to the
