Tuesday 4 November 2008 - PIA Boeing 777 AP-BID makes its first visit to BHX

PIA Boeing 777-340ER AP-BID operated their service from
Islamabad - its first visit to BHX. The aircraft wears the
"Gilgit - The Silk Route" tail colour scheme
Atlantic Airways used Avro RJ 100 OY-FJE on the morning SAS
service from Copenhagen in place of the usual BAe 146 - the
aircraft retains the basic scheme of now defunct carrier Faroe Jet
VLM Fokker 50 OO-VLS operated a day stopping charter
flight from Rotterdam
First Choice Boeing 757-2YO G-OOOX operated the first Thomson
flight to Taba in Egypt - a new IT destination for the winter. The
aircraft operated under "TOM" flight codes and now has an
"Operated by Thomson Airways" sticker by the front passenger door
Cessna P210N Silver Eagle N8KR was an unusual visitor
to the Elmdon apron during the day
