Birmingham Airport movements report week commencing Monday 29 August 2011

RAF Avia Saab 340 YL-RAG positioned in from Belfast International
in the early hours of Wednesday 31 August 2011 its first visit to BHX
- it joins Antonov 26B YL-RAD in being BHX based and available for
cargo charter flights
.
Sky Wings had another challenging week with Tor Air Airbus A320
LZ-BHB positioning on the evening of Monday 29 August 2011 to
operate their delayed flight to Corfu while a number of their other
services were operated by the based Air Finland Boeing 757's
.
On Saturday 3 September 2011 they also used one of their Avro
RJ100's - SX-DMA on its first visit to BHX - to operate an additional
rotation with the aircraft making a fuel stop at Milan on both flights
.
As the school holidays drew to a close Nouvelair Tunisie Airbus
A320 TS-INO operated their final flight of a short peak season
IT programme on Wednesday 31 August 2011 while Balkan Holidays
Airbus A320 LZ-BHF - on its first visit to BHX - operated the final
rotation of their peak season Friday flights on 2 September 2011
.
Other first visits included Farnair Europe ATR 72F HB-AFR,
Turkish Airlines Airbus A319 TC-JLZ and Airbus A321 TC-JRP
