Summer 2011 - The end is nigh!!

Before we look at the winter 2011/12 schedules in detail it
maybe helpful to note the airline/types that currently operate
to BHX but will not be regular visitors after the weekend -
.
bmi regional - their Embraer 145's will no longer operate
the Saturday morning Brussels Airlines service
.
CityJet - their final Avro RJ85 flight is on Saturday evening
with the Air France service from Paris CDG becoming an all
Airbus A318 operation from Sunday 29 October 2011
.
KLM - their Fokker 70's will be replaced by Embraer 190's on
the early morning rotation from Sunday 29 October 2011
although it is likely that we will continue to see them and
Fokker 100's on an occasional basis
.
SAS - their Airbus A319's are no longer planned to operate
to BHX on a regular basis with the morning service
becoming a mostly MD 81 operation
.
Thomson - are reverting to using mostly the First Choice
Boeing 767-300's for their long haul operation this winter
while the based Boeing 737-800 stays until the start of
December 2011 when it off on lease to Sunwing (of Canada)
and is replaced by a Boeing 757
.
Turkish - are reverting to a mostly Boeing 737-800 operation
for the winter although it is likely all their medium haul types
e.g Airbus A319/320/321's - will continue to visit BHX
.
As always details interesting movements, one off charters
and planned aircraft allocations will appear at -
