US Air Force Bell-Boeing CV-22 Osprey 12-0063 was an early morning arrival from its base at RAF Mildenhall....

.... the first of this type of "tiltrotor military aircraft" to visit Birmingham Airport!

.... next to US Air Air Force Boeing VC-32A 98-0002 which had arrived on Thursday evening
attracting a lot of attention while it awaited its passengers....

.... who duly arrived and boarded the Bell-Boeing CV-22 Osprey which then started up

.... it rotors tilt forward to allow it to taxy as it made it way for departure via Taxiway Foxtrot

.... and Taxiway Lima still with the rear door open

.... it then lined up on Runway 33 in front of the fire station

.... the rotors cutting through the cold early morning air

.... as it gained altitude the rotors move forward and it becomes a turbo prop aircraft

Meanwhile US Air Force Boeing VC-32A 98-0002 spent the day parked up....
