| SmartLynx have announced that they will be leasing Airbus A321 YL-LCV to Jet2 to be based at Birmingham Airport for the Summer 2018 season The aircraft will be leased by Jet2 from 15 May 2018 until 31 October 2018 and will fly from BHX to holiday destinations including Fuerteventura, Ibiza, Lanzarote, Larnaca, Mahon, Malaga, Palma, Rhodes and Tenerife Airbus A321 YL-LCV has previously visited BHX when as SE-RDO with Novair it spent some months with Monarch Aircraft Engineering in 2017 before being registered F-WTDH and going into storage at Lourdes in southern France The Airbus A321 will join 7 Boeing 737-800s as Jet2s Summer 2018 fleet at BHX |
