The second semi final of the Heineken Cup between Saracens
and Munster resulted in a "fly in" of Irish rugby fans....
....Thomas Cook Boeing 767-300 G-DAJC arrived from Shannon and
spent the day parked up on the 80's stands....
. .... while Monarch Airbus A330-200 G-SMAN arrived from Cork
and then positioned out to Gatwick
Titan BAe 146 G-ZAPN arrived from Shannon and parked up for the day on Terminal 2
. Ryanair operated a number of extra flights - Boeing 737-8AS EI-CSZ
which wears "Arrivederci Alitalia!" titles operated an early
morning rotation from Shannon
. Monarch Airbus A300-600R G-OJMR positioned in late on Saturday
night and parked up on the 80's stands before operating the return
charter flight to Cork
