Tuesday 15 December 2009 - Maldivian Air Taxi Twin Otter 8Q-MAJ spends day parked up

Maldivian Air Taxi Twin Otter 8Q-MAJ arrived from Keflavik for
a stop over on the Elmdon apron before continuing to Dubrovnik
later in the evening. Kenn Borek Air have recently disposed of
their interest in Maldivian Air Taxi and this is one of the "new"
aircraft for the later. Various KBA aircraft are returning to
Canada and when this process is complete the regular
Twin Otter transit flights via BHX should cease

easyJet restarted their seasonal service to Geneva with the first
flight being operated by easyJet Swiss Airbus A319 HB-JZG
.
Turkish Airlines Boeing 737-8F2 TC-JGK operated their flight
from Istanbul as they celebrated the first anniversary of their
5 times weekly service to BHX
.
Mustafa Saglik, Director of Turkish Airlines at Birmingham
gave two complimentary return tickets to Istanbul to the
first passenger to arrive at check-in, 25 year old student
Ceren Ozbasaran, who was travelling home to Turkey
for the Christmas holidays
