West Air Europe BAe ATP LX-WAT joined Atlantic ATP G-BTPF

on the Elmdon apron after West Atlantic moved their nightly

freight services to BHX following the closure of Coventry Airport

Birmingham Aviation Enthusiast Group

"BAEG" - the Birmingham
Aviation Enthusiast Group,
which was founded in 1999,
provides an in depth forum
for movements, news and
views at Birmingham Airport
and other Midlands airfields

The group has established close
links with the Airport company
who have in recent years hosted
the annual “BHX Airport Forum”
and organised visits to the
Control Tower and Airport Fire
Station at BHX

“BAEG” has worked together
with both the Airport Division
of the West Midlands Police
and the Airport Company to
introduce the “Birmingham
Airport Enthusiasts Security
Scheme” - BAESS - at BHX

aviation enthusiasts,
