Tuesday 23 February 2010 - First visit of winglet equipped Thomson Boeing 767

Thomsonfly Boeing 767-304ER G-OBYG - which has now had
winglets fitted - positioned in to operate their weekly flight to
Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic - this was the first visit
of a "76W" in Thomson colours
.
Viking Boeing 737-36N SE-RHU positioned in from Gatwick
to replace SE-RHT (which had gone tech at BHX) and operate
their weekly flight to Northern Iraq
.
The new Agusta A109E Power G-RSCU of the Warwickshire &
Northamptonshire Air Ambulance made three ILS approaches
and go arounds to Runway 15 during the morning
.
Maldivian Air Taxi/Kenn Borek Air Twin Otter C-FAKB spent the
day parked on the Elmdon apron after arriving from Keflavik in
the early hours of the morning. It departed to Dubrovnik shortly
after midnight/early Wednesday only to suffer an electrical fire
