Tower Watch - Monday 20 August 2012 - the sun sets on the "Olympic Rings" at BHX

The "Paralympic Games" start next week so in Olympic
terms we are fast approaching the "twelfth night"....

.... work starts on Tuesday on removing the Olympic Rings
from the new ATC Tower with this exercise planned to be
completed by the end of the week

.... as a result Monday evening, 20 August 2012, was
the final opportunity to see the Olympic Rings on the
new ATC Tower at Birmingham Airport illuminated
