The "Helicopter Club of Great Britain" fly in to Birmingham Airport to visit Land Rover

The "Helicopter Club of Great Britain" organised a "fly in"
to Birmingham Airport on Tuesday 4 September 2012
in conjunction with a visit to Land Rover in Solihull....

.... a total of 10 helicopters arrived - there were a few no shows
due to poor weather/fog in the south east - and these parked....
.
.... in two rows on Elmdon Stand 506 and the adjacent
grass area - in order of arrival the following visited....
.
Bell Longranger III G-ODCC which arrived on Monday

Eurocopter Squirrel G-WHAM which also arrived on Monday

Alouette II HA-PPC which was once XP967 with the Army Air Corps

The Helicopter Club members were ferried to/from the nearby
Land Rover plant by a fleet of Range Rovers....

.... returning to the airport of a mass departure shortly before 1700
