Summer 2010 - the end is nigh!!

Before we look at winter 2010/11 in detail - and with
one week of summer left! - it maybe helpful to note the
airlines/types that currently operate to BHX but will
not be regular visitors after next weekend -
.
bmi regional - their Aberdeen Embraer 145 service ends
on Friday 29 October 2010 - the afternoon service currently
being operated by an Eastern Saab 2000
.
Lufthansa CityLine - the final Embraer 190 flight is
next Saturday morning - from Sunday 31 October 2010 the
weekend service reverts to a Boeing 737 operation - I am
sure the E90's will be back at some time in the future!
.
Thomson - with many of the Boeing 737-800's being
leased to Sunwing (of Canada) for the winter the based
aircraft will be off on Monday week with their winter
programme being operated by Boeing 757's, 767's and
a weekly Boeing 737-300 flight
.
The based Boeing 767 will revert to a Thomson aircraft
for the winter although the First Choice 767's will
operate some cruise flights
.
Turkish Airlines - while the schedule remains the same the
aircraft types change again - out go the Airbus A320's and
Boeing 737-700's with the "standard" schedule in future
operated by a Boeing 737-800 on Friday and Airbus A319's
on the other days - no doubt BHX will still see 321's/320's/73W's!
.
As always details interesting movements, one off charters
and planned aircraft allocations will appear at -
